Where woodworking and art meet.

Handcrafted furniture and one-of-a-kind wood pieces by Rich Miranda, serving the United States and beyond.

Intro

Most furniture today is made fast, shipped flat, and replaced just as quickly.

That’s not what I do.

I create custom woodwork the way it should be created — by hand, from solid wood, with equal attention to structure, detail, and design. Every piece is both functional and artistic, built to be used every day and appreciated for years to come.

Each project begins as an idea. From there, it’s shaped through sketches, scale models, and careful refinement until the final design feels right — not just on paper, but in real life.

Every piece that leaves my shop carries my name. And that means something.

Who is this for?

If you’re looking for something quick or mass-produced, I’m probably not the right fit.

If you want a piece that feels intentional — something designed specifically for your space and built with an artist’s eye for proportion, balance, and detail — then we should talk.

Custom work isn’t about trends.
It’s about creating something worth keeping.

What I Build

You Dream It, I Can Craft It.

Tables, chairs, benches, and specialty pieces — all designed and built to order. Every project starts with a conversation and evolves through a creative process that blends artistic vision with craftmanship.

No templates. No catalogs. No repeats.
Each piece is original.

Why my work is Different

One Craftsman. One Vision. One Piece at a Time.

  • Designed and built by me from concept to completion
  • Guided by sketches, models, and refined design
  • Solid hardwoods chosen for character and longevity
  • Built for daily life, not display rooms
  • Focused on proportion, detail, and lasting beauty

Good craftsmanship is felt.
Good artistry is seen.
The best work is both.

the Process

From Vision to Wood

Concept & Conversation
Every piece begins with a conversation about your vision and your space. From there, I develop the idea through sketches and design studies, shaping something that is both thoughtful and artistic in its form.

Design & Build
Using hand drawings, scale models, and careful refinement, the design is finalized before the build begins. I rely on proven woodworking methods and proper joinery that many mass-production shops have left behind. My work is not rushed, and nothing is built by cutting corners.

Finished & Lived With
Your piece is delivered ready to become part of your daily life — something to be used, appreciated, and enjoyed as both furniture and art by you and your guests.

Personal Note

I’ve spent years working with wood — learning how it moves, how it ages, and how to bring out its natural character. I care about details because they change everything. I don’t rush the process, and I don’t put my name on anything I wouldn’t stand behind.

Each piece is a balance of creativity and structure.
Function and art.
Skill and vision.

If you’re considering custom woodwork, you deserve more than something assembled. You deserve something created.
